FAQ
We are happy to answer all of your questions and concerns regarding mobile waxing procedures that we provide!

How far in advance should I book my appointment?
It’s best to book at least one day ahead to reserve your ideal time. Same-day appointments may be available based on my schedule.

How long should my hair be for waxing?
Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long — about the size of a grain of rice — so the wax can grip properly for smooth results.

How should I prepare before my waxing session?
Please shower beforehand and avoid applying lotions or oils. Light exfoliation the day before helps with better hair removal.

Do I need to provide anything for the appointment?
Yes — please have your own towel and a trash can nearby. I typically perform the service on your bed for your comfort and proper back support. I bring all professional tools and supplies needed for the waxing session.

Does waxing hurt?
You may feel a brief sting, especially for your first session, but discomfort fades quickly. Regular waxing reduces sensitivity over time.
01. The Health and Beauty Benefits of a Body Scrub
A scrub works in a few ways: As you massage it over your body, the exfoliating granules help to slough off dead skin, and the rubbing action itself boosts circulation and helps drain your lymph nodes, by increasing blood flow to the skin’s surface. Plus, after all that deep cleansing work in the shower, your post-wash moisturizer will be better able to soothe and hydrate your skin.
03. When Not to Use a Body Scrub?
If you have a sunburn or are experiencing a rash or other skin condition, give the body scrub a rest. Some of the ingredients and the actual rubbing could further irritate your skin. You’ll also want to skip it after shaving if your scrub contains salt or any chemical ingredients.
05. Soft Wax
Soft wax is applied to the skin very thinly and a muslin strip is applied on top of the wax to remove the hair. After the hair is removed with the soft wax, the esthetician has to apply oil or some kind of wax remover over the waxed area, to prevent a sticky situation. This is not so with hard wax.
02. Importance of Body Scrubbing
Scrubbing your body can remove the layer of dead skin cells in your body.
This process can reveal the fresh, clean, and rejuvenated skin hidden under the layers of grime, sweat, and dead skin cells that have accumulated during your daily activities.
Without a regular body scrub, the skin can become darker than its normal coloring and it may look dull or dirty even after taking a bath or a shower. It can also become dry, itchy and flaky. Body scrubbing can make the skin soft and supple, revitalized and invigorated.
Be careful not to over scrub. Though your body skin is heartier than the skin on your face, it is susceptible to irritation. Always moisturize after you’ve dried off for smooth, nourished skin.
04. Hard Wax
Hard wax is first applied as a liquid. It goes on the skin a lot thicker than the soft wax. It then hardens after it cools off and the wax is removed without the use of a muslin strip.
